Ms. Jensen is sought after for high-stakes litigation in a range of industries and has consistently delivered exceptional outcomes.  Her clients have included Fortune 500 companies, major studios, and prominent entertainers and public figures.

As an authority in intellectual property, she specializes in trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret, licensing, rights of publicity and privacy, and unfair competition cases.  She possesses extensive experience and know-how trying complex international and domestic intellectual property and commercial cases, including multi-jurisdictional class actions and business disputes, for some of the world’s best-known global corporations and brands in a wide range of industries and technologies, including worldwide consumer products, electronics, communications services, Internet services, publishing, media, entertainment, gaming, healthcare, medical technology, energy, and hotel and hospitality services. She has managed litigation for global consumer brands and developed and executed worldwide intellectual property protection, enforcement, and licensing programs.  She also regularly counsels clients on intellectual property matters, enforcement, compliance, business transactions, licensing, new media, advertising, branding, and strategic alliances. 

In addition, Ms. Jensen has significant experience in media, entertainment, and related businesses worldwide.  She has successfully represented numerous industry clients in both their disputes and transactional matters, including major motion picture studios, motion picture and television production companies, network and cable television programming producers and distributors, legitimate theater companies, major and independent record labels, publishers, celebrity estates and prominent individuals, including musicians, writers, producers, and senior executives.

Ms. Jensen is a recognized international leader in areas of intellectual property, entertainment, media, and litigation. The International Trademark Association ("INTA") appointed Ms. Jensen and she currently serves on the Enforcement Committee and as Chair of a Task Force on Precedential Decisions, and INTA formerly appointed her to the Famous & Well-Known Marks Committee. The American Bar Association, Intellectual Property ("IPL") Section Chair appointed Ms. Jensen to the leadership Nominating Committee, and she currently serves as Chair of the Copyright Litigation Committee and formerly served as both Chair of the Visual Arts, Dramatic Works and Motion Pictures Committee and Chair of the Copyright Legislation Committee of the ABA IPL Section.  She frequently writes and is an accomplished speaker on topics of intellectual property, new media, and entertainment.  In addition, she served a number of years on the Board of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.

Prior to forming Jensen Law Firm, Ms. Jensen practiced at major international law firms, including the Intellectual Property and Litigation Departments of the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins LLP.

  • Won summary judgment and subsequent appeal on behalf of defendant, the second largest corporation in its industry, in case alleging fraud and conversion;
  • Secured full recovery in settlement on behalf of plaintiff, a prominent executive, in breach of contract and fraud matter;
  • Won summary adjudication in trademark action against global Fortune 1000 company;
  • Enforced intellectual property rights against unauthorized Internet use in trademark infringement action and obtained favorable settlement;
  • Won $120 million judgment and permanent injunction, as lead trial counsel in international trademark infringement case for Fortune 500 global electronics company;
  • Obtained over $4 million in four precedent-setting final judgments, as lead trial counsel in trademark infringement litigation;
  • Won $93 million final judgment of patent infringement for international technology company as part of litigation team;
  • Won $45 million final judgment of patent infringement for global consumer products company, including treble damages, attorneys’ fees and interest, as part of litigation team;
  • Won money judgments, injunctions, and enforcement orders for worldwide corporate clients in cases involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, unfair competition, and business disputes;
  • Obtained extraordinary relief in trademark and patent litigations, including contempt sanctions exceeding $6 million; incarceration of defendant for contempt; orders to freeze and impound assets; seizures at U.S. Customs and at defendants’ businesses and homes; and orders for repatriation of millions of dollars transferred overseas;
  • Recovered and enforced exclusive rights relating to copyrights concerning signature properties of global companies, media entities, and individuals, including well-known international consumer products companies and N.Y. Times best-selling authors;
  • Enforced intellectual property rights, including against unauthorized Internet use, and advised and handled disputes regarding complex business matters, rights of privacy and publicity, First Amendment, new media, advertising, and endorsements, including:
    • numerous disputes for major studio in high-profile matters;
    • litigations involving celebrities, celebrity estates, international publishers and writers;
    • matters involving global technology and consumer products companies;
    • litigation involving record labels and music production companies;
  • Obtained exceptional outcomes in high-stakes trials, class actions, and securities litigation, including landmark claims-made settlement of $86 million securities class action against the largest U.S. long-term healthcare provider and favorable outcome in multi-district class action for global consumer products company;
  • Obtained trial victory on all claims in business litigation for largest independent oil company in California;
  • Successfully represented Japan-based client, an automotive parts manufacturer and supplier, in U.S. trial;
  • Obtained take-nothing dismissal for well-known global entertainment company in action by prominent individual;
  • Obtained judgment for California schools in dispute involving broadcast of a current events news program; and
  • Won numerous emergency motions, writs, and appeals before district courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
